The Wrens produce a sound that will have you flyin' high. Say Hi To Your Mom play a dreamier variety of indie rock. On a homemade PC, one-man band Eric Elbogen assembles slow, statuesque, self-consciously "indie" rock with analog synthscapes, overlapping distorted guitars, lots of low-end quavering whispers. Elbogen uses everything at his disposal to make dense pop music that's dark and sad and poppy.
