New York, New York 10019

The Museum of TV & Radio will host the New York Premiere of "The World According to Sesame Street" as part of its annual Documentary Festival.

This insightful documentary from Participant Productions, which premiered at Sundance, examines the challenges and complexities of exporting the Muppets to such countries as Bangladesh, Kosovo, and South Africa. The Sesame Street denizens show that education can still thrive in countries devastated by war, AIDS, or poverty, and that intercultural dialogue is a force that can help change the world.
