Oliver Wood of King Johnson and Chris Wood of Medeski Martin and Wood grew up in Boulder Colorado. After years of musical and geographical separation they have reunited to create rootsy music that blends blues, folk and rock music in a guitar and bass duo.

As a songwriter she takes the concept of eclecticism to a new level, incorporating many musical influences: jazz, medieval, electronica and Brazilian, with her band's rock, blues and funk sound.
