In Renaissance Padua, two, shall we say, interesting personalities collide. Kate and Petruchio both have given up on ever finding romantic love, so Petruchio determines to marry for money, Kate, trapped in her foolish father's house, decides to act out. Then, most astonishingly, each meets their soulmate.
