The Sweet-Voiced Bird Has Flown: Portraits of Common Birds in Decline May 25, 2011

A collaboration by the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators Finger Lakes Chapter and the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology, this special art exhibition explores birds that are experiencing population declines. The paintings show the birds in their native, undisturbed habitat, while the sketches show the birds alongside the environmental pressures that have caused their decline.
