Al Lewis and Willy Clark performed vaudeville as “Lewis and Clark” for over 40 years. Despite their celebrated reputation, the two old men have not spoken in twelve years. Now CBS has decided to do a retrospective of early television entertainment and asks them to do their famous Doctor Sketch one last time. Besides remastering their sketch, the two men have numerous issues to work out before they are ready to return to the public eye

Charles Ault, Sr. started The Player Guild in 1936 as a means to put food on the table in the middle of the depression. A love for the theatre and a creative mind brought a group of talented community actors and actresses together to provide the public with live entertainment. This concept was passed on to his son Charley Ault, Jr. who now runs The Players Guild, beginning its 75th year of production.
