The celebrated New York City arts education organization The Story Pirates exist entirely because of kids—but not for this very special engagement by the group, which is an Adults Only Show!
While most of their wildly popular performances are family friendly, this one will be a unique and hilarious, no holds barred approach, where the same stories that elementary students provide are now performed with adult language and concepts by the talented crew. Grown-up fans of the show and new audience members alike are in for a treat!
At a typical Story Pirates show, story topics run the gamut, from the shame of chronic bedwetting to the eternal love between the devil and a guy she meets at Starbucks. Adding songs, props, music videos and puppets, and a David Bowie-style tribute to a good Hebrew School education, the Story Pirates have blown the minds of 100,000 second graders. You're next.
