The South Bay June Home Show June 4, 2010

The South Bay Home Show has rolled out a brand new show, June 4-6 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, that will feature innovative remodeling tips, decorating ideas, top home improvement specialists, and the latest selection of must-have new home-related products.

Celebrity grill gurus Mad Dog and Merrill will spice up the show with their unique and wacky BBQ demonstrations, teaching attendees how to grill like a pro. Mad Dog and Merrill’s motto is, “There’s nothing you can’t cook on a grill”…even ice cream! The duo has penned numerous grilling cookbooks, including The Grilling Buddies Cookbook, Grillology 101, Forever Tailgating and more. They recently received national attention when they cooked 8,000 bratwurst sausages in 20-degree-below zero weather at a Green Bay Packers Game and were featured on ESPN, CBS and CNN.

On Saturday, June 5th, there will be a special Wine Tasting with celebrity KGO radio broadcaster Gene Burns. Guests will have the chance to sample wines, at no extra cost, and listen to the famed host answer questions. Plus, parents can also bring the kids to one of the colorful and interactive Mad Science® performances on the Main Stage. Mad Science provides hands-on activities and allows children to learn about science by interacting directly with educational materials in a wild setting.
