Desoto Family Theatre presents this exciting production of the musical classic, 'The Sound of Music.' The final collaboration between Rodgers and Hammerstein tells the story of Maria, governess for the seven children of a widowed naval Captain. Her growing rapport with the youngsters, coupled with her generosity of spirit, gradually captures the heart of the stern Captain. Filled with some of the most memorable songs ever heard, including 'The Sound of Music,' 'My Favorite Things,' 'Sixteen Going on Seventeen' and "Edelweiss,' 'The Sound of Music' is perfect for the whole family.
