Phil Hope MP, Minister of State for Care Services
Stephen O'Brien MP, Conservative Shadow Minister for Health
Greg Mulholland MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow Minister for Health
Jamie Bartlett, author of the Social Care Constitution, Demos
Richard Reeves, Director, Demos (Chair)

Demos is launching a proposed Social Care Constitution, in partnership with Leonard Cheshire Disability and the MS Society, and supported by in Control.

In the context of Government's reform of social care, the proposed Constitution lays out a clear set of principles which define what we the public should expect from social care services, and what we might be expected to contribute in return.

Phil Hope MP, Greg Mulholland MP, and Stephen O'Brien MP will each speak to the policy implications of the Constitution, and lay out their vision of what a new social care settlement should look like, in a debate chaired by Demos' Director Richard Reeves. The event will conclude with a Q&A.
