The Slackers are a seven-piece band that hails from New York City. Formed in 1991, the band has been experimenting with mixes of ska, reggae, soul, swing, garage rock and jazz for over 10 years. What do you get when you mix the chugging rhythms of Jamaica, the energy and emotion of American Motown, and the overthe-top pub/rock of the Pogues? Deals Gone Bad -- a culturally diverse eight-piece band from the streets of Chicago. Deals Gone Bad has played their unique brand of '50s and '60s Jamaican music for the past ten years. Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, DGB blends reggae, rocksteady, and ska music with American soul in a fiery brew all their own.
