Find out for yourself at The SimplyRaw Pie contest, sponsored by the Table Vegetarian Restaurant & the Natural Food Pantry, on Saturday September 9th from 2-6pm at Central Park in the Glebe. Just no cooking please! All pies will be made using only fresh raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and grains. Imagine indulging your taste buds with decadent and wildly inventive desserts without spoiling your diet!

Raw pie samples will be shared with the public once the winners are selected by our distinguished judging panel (which includes Jim Watson, Minister of Health Promotion in Ontario, Leanne Cusack, CTV News host, Louise Crosby, Ottawa Citizen columnist, and Robert Fife, CTV Ottawa Bureau Chief). Come experience nature's vibrant flavors - and indulge in one of the hottest food-lifestyles that’s sweeping across North America.

Added to the mix of raw pies, this non-profit event will also feature emcee Brigitte Gall (star of Me, My House and I), and fun activities and entertainment include a raffle, rawsome prizes, live music, yoga and a host of vendors supporting the health conscious lifestyles.
