The Shaolin Warriors October 5, 2007

The Monks from the Songshan Shaolin Temple in the People’s Republic of China return to Marin in a new and fully choreographed theatrical production. The Shaolin Warriors toured North America in 2000, 2002 and 2004, including sold-out performances at Marin Center. After returning to China for several years, the monks are making a heralded return to Marin Center with their new program, as 25 warrior monks display a combination of martial arts, contortion, acrobatics and athletic skills which reveal their ancient philosophy and daily rituals.
