DUBAK - THE PALESTINIAN JEW
Thursday, November 5
7:30 pm
Film followed by discussion and reception with special guest, director Ella Alterman

Dubak is unlike anyone you have ever met before. A bereaved father dedicated to tolerance for all. An informal educator working for redemption of the land. A soul mate to the local Arab population. A protagonist who sounds like a poet. Dubak seems to have found the key to a life that is at once communal and free of politics, creating a balance between the people and the land as he joins the native Bedouin to track and rescue missing persons in the desert.
