Scion Presents the Metros with Pete Rock, Revolution, contest winner of Free Up Your Mix contest, and local resident The Twilite Tone
Scion, the newest line of vehicles from Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), continues its series of events which feature hip hop's top tier DJs and turntablists. The events signify Scion?s commitment to the urban music-minded community through six individually-produced events in each of the selected markets. DJ's performing are past winners of the Free Up Your Mix contest, a nationwide mixtape competition to find the best amateur hiop-hop DJs in America. Each regional winner will perform alongside legendary DJs such as Jazzy Jeff, DJ Premier and Tony Touch at the Metros in their respective region.
Beginning in April 2006, the Scion Metros events will be stationed in Boston, MA; St. Louis, MO; San Diego, CA; Minneapolis, MN; Detroit, MI; and Denver, CO. To attend the Scion Metros events please RSVP at www.scion.com/metro. All Scion Metros are FREE to attend.
