Many dance parties come and go, but The Rub is an institution. Started back in 2002 by DJ Eleven, DJ Ayres, and Cosmo Baker, the party quickly picked up speed and became a Brooklyn movement. Six years later, The Rub still draws huge crowds of people to their monthly dance party. How come? Maybe its the steady stream of classic tracks, the untempered devotion to having a good time, the respect for a song well-spun. But for whatever reason, The Rub is Brooklyn at its best.

On Saturday, Dec 20th, The Rub boys are bringing their magic to the warehouse space at the Old American Can Factory. Tucked in the industrial neighborhood of the Gowanus, the OACF is not only an incredible landmark, but the natural choice for The Rub's annual holiday throw-down. So come to rub shoulders, come for the rub down, come to say "ohhhh shit, that's my JAMS!".
