The Royal British Legion Cornwall County Rally/Veteran's Day 2008 August 3, 2008

Venue & Directions: The event is being staged at Liskeard School and Community College, Luxstowe, Liskeard. Directions to the venue from your area can be requested; however, AA signs will be displayed along all routes.

Programme: The actual programme is still in its final planning stage; however, I can confirm that in addition to the parade, service and march-past it will feature a display by The Royal Signals (White Helmets) Motorcycle Display Team, various bands and re-enactment scenes. A RNAS Culdrose Sea King fly past is also scheduled, subject to weather/operational tasking.

Timings: The complex will be open from 10am until 5pm, with plenty to see and do in the guise of stalls, Ex-Service organisations, military memorabilia, vintage military vehicles, climbing wall, bouncy castle etc: a fun-filled day for all the family.

Parking: Disabled & Coach parking will be located within the school car park. Main parking will be located opposite the school in the Council Offices parking area, which can hold 300 vehicles, and West Borne car park. In addition, there may also be a possibility for people to park in the street. All parking facilities will be clearly identified on the day.

Facilities: The site will be fully equipped with an arena, marquees, portaloos and catering facilities, in addition to the main grandstand and seating.

Entry Fee: Entry will be free to all Legion members, their guests and the public, so please do encourage your family and friends to attend.
