Grammy Winning Hip-Hop Band The Roots to Perform in Shanghai
Phildelphia based, Grammy winning hip-hop artists The Roots will perform at April 16th Shanghai’s Yun Feng Theater. Known for their standout live performances, The Roots will be performing tracks from their Grammy nominated Game Theory album (2006) as well as their large repertoire of thick grooves and smart rhymes. Having played Lollapalooza, the Montreux Jazz Festival, and live halls around the world, the legendary Roots crew fronted by Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter and backed by Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson on the drums are certain to make an impression on audiences in China.
