In an effort to re-define the status quo of rock and roll shows and alternative electronica parties, Shanghai’s The Rogue Transmission have teamed up with France’s One Step Inside and Orange Zebre to establish “the Rock Electro Ratio”.

From April 25th through May 2nd, these three acts will travel around China in a battle for sonic supremacy, culminating a performance at Beijing’s legendary D-22 in Wudaokou on the eve of Midi Festival.

“the Rock Electro Ratio” builds upon the recent trend of joining rock bands with DJs and electronic artists, offering fans a potent dose of heavy, dancey music.

THE ROGUE TRANSMISSION
Born in the winter of 2007, The Rogue Transmission has already established themselves as Shanghai's premier rock and roll outfit. Leaders of a new brand of loud, fun, and chaotic rock, The Rogue Transmission has been packing venues in, and around, Shanghai with their monstrous riffs and bolstering live performances. Featuring members from the U.S., U.K., and France, The Rogue Transmission draws from a wide range of influences including punk, power pop, classic rock, metal, psychedelia, and 50s boogie, creating and crafting a sound that is uniquely their own. Compared to Motorhead, Queens of the Stone Age, and the MC5, The Rogue Transmission plays rock for the masses, infecting audiences with their big, feel-good hooks, and undeniable energy.

ONE STEP INSIDE
One Step Inside is an electro-live band born in
2005 in Lille, France. Formed of a trip hop/rock
musician, an electronic music composer and a
turntablist, they developped a new approach of
music through acoustic/electric instruments
combined to numeric and analogic devices. And
if this wasn't enough, videos are also part of the
experience to fully complete the fusion of music
and emotion.
