The Rock N Fashion Show is back for Spring/Summer 2009!

Get ready KC! The Rock N Fashion Show (www.myspace.com/rock_n_fashion) is ready to showcase some hot fashion for the Summer 2009! Clay Perkins (producer of The Rock N Fashion Show) along with Joshua Ferdinand (Joshua Ferdinand Photography), Carlos Lee (EventKC) and Christian Micheal will be putting on this spectacular showcase. The show is an upbeat high energy fashion show that marries local designers, models, bands and hair/makeup artists into one amazing event! The Rock N Fashion Show will be held at Crosstown Station (1522 McGee St, KC, MO, 816-471-1522) on Friday, April 24th, 2009. This event is being sponsored by Scion.

The show will consist of all local artists that include performances by Audiovox, Xavier Sun and Patrick Lentz along with local designers/boutiques Saum Frock, Amanda Nervig, Uptown Boutique, The Market Boutique, Imagery and Envolve. Hairspray Cafe will provide hair styling for women and men. Makeup will be done by several local freelance artists. There will be a DJ performing in between sets and after the main show. Scion, Haute Weekly, American Laser Centers and all the bands and designers will have merchandise tables on the second floor of Crosstown Station.

"The response for the first three shows was so overwhelming that we can’t help but continue and expand," Perkins said, "Thanks to Toyota Scion, we can continue to grow make this show bigger and better. Our goal is to give these artists the chance to show the local community what they can do. We just took this show to Lincoln, NE and it was a sell out at a 1000 person venue. We have plans to go all over the Midwest this coming fall and next Spring. "

The fashion show will consist of clothing along for both men and women. Doors will open at 7:00 PM with the first show beginning at 8:00 PM. Tickets will cost $10.00 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased at www.crosstownstation.com or at the door the night of the event. Also, tickets will be available at Uptown Boutique, The Market Boutique, Envolve Boutique and Imagery.
