This music and film event tells the amazing story of six refugees who have become a world music miracle. FREE

The Refugee All Stars are a group of six musicians who fled the violence of their native Sierra Leone and started playing together in the refugee camps of Guinea. The hardship they experienced brings a powerful authenticity to the All Stars dynamic blend of reggae and West African music.

Their compelling story is captured in The Refugee All Stars of Sierra Leone, a documentary chronicling three years in the lives of the band members, as they make the painful return to Sierra Leone and record their first album there. The Refugee All Stars of Sierra Leone will perform an opening set, followed by a screening of the documentary. The band will then return to the stage for another set to close the evening.
