The Denver Victorian Playhouse Children’s Theatre presents “The Puddle Jumpers Holiday Fantasment” opens with two shows on Saturday, December 4 at 11a.m. and 1 p.m. and then runs Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. through December 18. Tickets are $8.00 adult and $6.00 for children under 12. On Saturday, December 4 & 18, Santa makes special appearances after each performance and will be waiting in the lobby. This Holiday season The Puddle Jumpers have written their own monologues on what the Holidays mean to them. Ranging in age from 7 - 17 years old, each company member chose their own special piece for the show.
Included in the program is “Irrelephant Christmas”, a one act play by local playwright Leroy Leonard and directed by Zachary A. Page. Join the cast as they attempt to make a “cheesy” Christmas believer out of Abby- neezer! The cast includes Ayden Armstrong, Branwen Armstrong, Maitland Hennessy, Abriella Higman,Lauren Lang, Sloan Lyon, Jessica Page, Linnea Scott and Emily Weston. Leroy Leonard has been performing and writing in Denver for over thirty years. In 2009 Leroy’s play Monkey Men was staged by the Theater Company of Lafayette. His play, Hush, Mrs. Gallegos, was a finalist Coal Creek Community Theater’s 2009 New Playwright’s Front Range Showcase. Since 1987 Leroy has performed and taught as Merry-Andrew Afoot, a one-person children's theatre company.

The Puddle Jumpers originally began as a touring company with The Fools Gold Theatre, they travelled Ireland in 2010 performing the Children’s show “Selggin and The Battle of the Molinduffs” upon return to Denver The Puddle Jumpers became the New Name for the Children’s Theatre program started in 2008.
