SW Oak & Naito
Portland, Oregon

This slug velo ride will be touring a choice selection of historic Portland Fire & Rescue sites within a Slug-In-January distance, with historical interpretation, including visual aids. Our ride will end at the Historic Belmont Firehouse, on "Safety Saturday," when the public is invited to see PF&R's historic and modern equipment, and learn all about (what else?) fire and life safety from the firefighers.

Bring money if you want to purchase refreshments; there are many options near our final stop on Belmont.

Thanks to Heather Andrews, and Don Porth of Portland Fire & Rescue, whose job it is to educate others about the history of the department, and about fire and life safety.
