THE POETRY PLAYGROUND: Exercise Your Poet

Once launched, this class will generate experiences from which artists
of all level can grow. The Playground will be a place to explore
poetry in physical ways. Classes will be 2 hours of guided, unguided
and group play in a studio setting. All genders, genres and levels
welcome. This is for seasoned writers and for writers-in-the-raw.
Really, anyone interested in poetry. Sessions will cost $10 and
include a warm-up (voice, movement and writing), written exercises,
group work, solo work and time to share. This kind of "play" hopes to
develop into a "practice" that you can take with you.

All classes are drop-in. It is not necessary to pre-register but highly encouraged so we know you are coming!.

Bring a
pen, notebook and anything that is currently inspiring you (a poem, an
article, an image, an object, an outfit). Snacks are ok too, we'll have tea on and maybe some coffee!

You've been working hard. It's time to play!!
