The Philadelphia Story is being presented by Phoenixville Area High School Theatre Guild the weekend before Thanksgiving, on November 19 and 20 at 7 p.m., and November 21 at 2 p.m., in the PAHS auditorium.

The play is the story of a young socialite Tracey Lord, (played by Sonia Tavani), getting married for the second time. Unwanted reporter Mike Connor (Tyler Freeze) and photographer Liz Imbrie (Aimee Powell) are sent to secretly record the proceedings, leading to "a fine state of affairs" in this witty and sparkling comedy.

Throw in a teenage sister, an uncle with an eye for the ladies, a jealous fiance (Joe Spina), an ex-husband (Paul Deichmann) and servants galore and you have the makings of a fun evening at the theatre.

Tickets for the event are $5 students and $7 adults, and are available online on the PAHS website, http://www.pasd.k12.pa.us/pahs/site/default.asp, or at the door.
