The People Against McCain/Palin Rally October 18, 2008

To all those who have signed up for this rally: thank you for your support. We are counting on your being there.
The main goal of this rally is to inspire people to volunteer. This event has been modified due to such a large response. We will not march but canvass Union Square and its surroundings in an attempt to gather as many volunteers as we can to 1) call battleground states 2) canvass in PA. The PA campaign office is working with us as well as the NYC Obama office. Volunteers are making a powerful impact for Obama, but we need more. Please email this link to anyone you know who could help. We have a great turn out, but we need as many people as we can get to show a strong defiant solidarity. We are asking that you make posters with a protesting sentence plus a call for volunteers (ex. McCain: Pain with No Gain! Volunteer for Obama!). You will be provided with all materials for canvassing: flyers, paper, pens, pamphlets, Obama buttons and stickers etc...
