The Pennsylvania Symphonic Wind Band April 19, 2009

Valley Forge Military Academy & College in Wayne, PA will be hosting The Pennsylvania Symphonic Wind Band for a special Spring performance on 4/19/09 at 2PM in Mellon Hall.

This premiere Philadelphia Musical Group is led by their conductor and Valley Forge Military Academy and College, Director of Music W02 (Ret'd) Phil Evans.

The musicians are comprised of individuals from around the Philadelphia region. Many are professional musicians and educators as well as doctors, professors and military servicemen.

They last performed in December where they proudly brought smiles to the children at The Shriner’s Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Please join the Pennsylvania Symphonic Wind Band for their Spring Concert. The repertoire for the afternoon will include Stage, Screen and Classical Music as well as the 1st and 3rd movements of the Derek Bourgeois Trombone Concerto.

Admission for the afternoon is $8.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Children and Senior Citizens. All proceeds will go directly to support the Valley Forge Military Academy and College.
