Charlotte and her husband George have unwillingly come to the twilight of their theatrical careers in a “quaint” Buffalo, NY theatre where they are performing in repertory with a lack-luster cast. After hearing that the famous Hollywood director, Frank Capra, is coming to give George one final shot of stardom, miscommunication ensues and the hilarity begins with a romp through the thrill-a-minute lifestyle of the theatrical world. As Charlotte’s actress mother Ethel puts it, “It’s like living in the asylum on the guard’s day off!”

The cast includes Marilyn Spittler as Charlotte, David Peterson as George, Mary Beth Gudewicz as Rosalind and Kathi Baerns as Ethel. Rounding out the cast are Alexandra Barnes, Adrian Hart, BJ Kellogg and Doug Tisdale.

Moon Over Buffalo enjoyed a long and successful run on Broadway starring Carol Burnett as Charlotte Hay
