The power inherent in painting is that it can awaken a wild vein of passion that will not go back to sleep. Using only the simple tools of brush, paper, and paint, "The Painting Experience" invites you on a stimulating journey into the heart of expressive painting. The potential is to tap into an extraordinary resource: the vibrant, driving force of your own creative spirit.

In this workshop, everyone is a beginner. You are welcome even if you've never picked up a paintbrush. The goal is free expression, with the emphasis on the creative process rather than on technique, expertise, or product. "The Painting Experience" is an opportunity to embark on the greatest of all human adventures--embracing your own path and confidently following it.

Stewart Cubley is the co-author of the highly acclaimed book "Life, Paint & Passion: Reclaiming the Magic of Spontaneous Expression." He has traveled throughout the world for more than 30 years working with individuals and groups to access the potential within the human heart and imagination. He and Annie Rousseau have conducted seminars at learning-based organizations as well as corporations, prisons, and other public forums.

This workshop may be of interest to people from a wide variety of disciplines, including art, education, counseling, social change, and meditative practices. No prior experience necessary. All materials supplied.
