The Other White Meat Tour Visits Sacramento August 22, 2009

The Other White Meat Tour is criss-crossing the country this summer to celebrate the great taste of pork on the grill … and it’s looking for Sacramento's most passionate pork fan at the California State Fair from August 22-23, 3-5 PM.

Whether it’s a pork jingle, a rap about ribs, or a pork dinner dance, creativity and personality must shine through. Come on by and let us know why you deserve the title of Sacramento's #1 Pork Fan!

In addition to bragging rights, the winner will take home a $500 gift card to SaveMart. Plus, they’ll be entered to win a trip to New York City in October to help judge the national “Search for the Next Pork Personality” contest with celebrity chef Guy Fieri.

And for every entry collected, America’s pork producers will provide 10 pounds of pork to a local Sacramento food bank. That equates to 50 meals per entry!
