In 2007 The Northwest Food and Wine Festival will enter its second year with a targeted half day wine and food celebration created to present a rich rewarding experience for wine lovers and gourmet food enthusiasts. Held on Saturday the festival kicks off with a Magic of Magnums in the early afternoon followed by the Big Grand Wine Tasting Event on the main floor of the coliseum. A silent auction for charity, and the "get corked competition" add to the overall fun and enjoyment. A Parade of Ports will take place on Sunday Afternoon following the big event on Saturday at Fenouil Restaurant in the Pearl.
