THE NEW YORK JUNIOR LEAGUE'S FIRST ANNUAL “BABES, BAGS & BUBBLES” HANDBAG AUCTION May 28, 2009

The New York Junior League (NYJL) and W Magazine present the first annual Babes, Bags and Bubbles Handbag Auction, a fun and whimsical girls’ night out with a fashionable twist. The evening pairs chocolate, Champagne and charity- all in support of the Women’s Cancer Prevention program and other programs supported by the New York Junior League.

Upon entering the Astor House on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, NYJL volunteers and the fashionable general public will be invited to bid on more than 100 designer handbags, while socializing with friends, nibbling on fine chocolate and enjoying sumptuous Champagne. Inga Fontaine is our featured celebrity stylist and designer handbags have been donated by Meg Ryan, Carly Simon, Anne Archer, Tinsley Mortimer, and Jacqueline Bissett among others.

The VIP ticket includes a special entrance, early entry to receive an edge on the bidding with the possibility to purchase a handbag on the spot opportunity, and a special gift bag.
