The Monkees Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Crusade April 5, 2009

Led by organizers Mick Sterling and Jeffrey James Sutherlan, Twin Cities musicians and avid Monkees devotees, they are on a "Mission from God" to get The Monkees finally inducted in to the Rock and Roll of Fame. This show, the night after the 2009 Hall of Fame induction, is the kick-off of the 2010 campaign to tip the scales of musical justice for the Monkees. An all-Star collection of Twin Cities guest artists, including Brian Leighton, Phil Solem, Katie Gearty, Ken Chastain, Tim Mahoney, Tony Ortiz, Tom Lecher and Jim May, along with Sterling and Sutherland and more, will perform 25 classic Monkees songs, backed by the crack rhythm section of The Irresistibles, Toby Lee and HD's, along with Twin Cities legendary guitarist Dan Neale.
