The Meters Experience March 20, 2010

In 2001, The Meters were awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award; the recognition was in honor of their contributions to the music world as "The Pioneers of Funk." Leo Nocentelli was the band's songwriter and main creative contributor. He's recorded with music icons like Stevie Wonder, Bonnie Raitt, Paul McCartney and The Temptations. He still plays with The Meters Experience.
