The Madeleine Festival of the Arts and Humanities: Valerie Capers and Friends: Together Again 2013 April 21, 2013

Renowned Jazz Pianist. Dr. Valeri Capers returns to Utah to perform and collaborate with faculty from BYU. An evening of Jazz and Improvisation from a highly regarded educator, composer and performer. Dr. Valerie Capers was born in the Bronx and received her early schooling at the New York Institute for the Education of the Blind. She went on to obtain both her bachelor's and master's degrees from The Juilliard School of Music.
