The Long and Short of It June 24, 2006

The Long and Short of It was formed in the fall of 2003 by Brian Barrabee(Battling Maxo), Ben Johnson(Tourettes Lautrec), and his brother Big Baby(Corrugated). Ben suggested that they ask Matt Strachota(Bartenders Bible) to join the project, and everything started from there. The result has been a unique style of heavy rock which has transcended all of their various influences. They continue to rock the local venues in S.D. and released their first ep in June of 2005. After recording 12 songs with Gar Wood (Fishwife,Tanner, Hot Snakes & Beehive and The Barracudas) in February 2005 and laying down 6 more tracks in October, they will be following the ep up with a full length record. The Long and Short of It has shared the stage with variety of acts including the Hot Snakes, Big Business, Melt Banana, Made Out of Babies, Watusi Zombie, Unsane, Honky, and Bob Log III.
