The "Life Vines" Wine Tasting Charity Event September 13, 2009

The "Life Vines" Wine Tasting Charity Event and Auction benefiting The ALS Association, Greater Los Angeles Chapter, will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at The Lakes at El Segundo in El Segundo, California. The day promises to be an exciting day for all patrons while raising support and awareness for the plight of persons with ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease.

The ALS Association, Greater Los Angeles Chapter, is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of individuals with ALS and their families. ALS is a disease of the nervous system characterized by muscle wasting, paralysis, speech loss and inability to swallow or breathe. The chapter provides vital services to ALS patients, in Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, Riverside, Kern and Inyo counties. Services provided include counseling, loans of medical equipment and communication devices, caregiver support, and research, all free of charge.

In order to continue to provide these services, we are asking for your generous support. We would greatly appreciate a donation for the silent auction. In gratitude of your support, your company will be listed in the chapter's quarterly newsletter, The Messenger, and mentioned the day of the event as a donor. The ALS Association is a tax-exempt public charity under the provision of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Federal I.D. number is 95-4163338).
