no its not. i went last year. so fucking crowded you can barely get near the sake. and when you do, they dole it out to you with a fucking eyedropper. no lie.

roninpl

Is that true, mstcreative??

The event was sold out last year so we decided to limit the number of tickets this year- yes it was crowded. We are also expanding the space devoted to the sakes and there are about 50 more so you get an opportunity to taste more. The reason for the eyedropper is to allow people to taste as many sakes as possible- there are 210 of them! (last year there were "only" 145). It's self-service so you can always pour yourself more of the sakes you really enjoy. One third of the sakes have never been available in the US before. Also, there will be 14 restaurants this year so the food will be more plentiful as well. Last year was the first NY edition of Joy of Sake ever. It was extremely successful but we learned from it too. Roninpl say hi when you come to the event- ask for MSTCreative.

Sure will.

Mike-
The event was awesome!!! I was pretty much plastered after my 15 sample of the premium sake. The eyedrop concept is excellent and there are plenty of sake for everyone. See you guys again next year.
