WORLD’S LARGEST POSTER FAIR RETURNS TO CHICAGO
THE WEEKEND OF MARCH 28

WHAT: Bring home the Seven Wonders of the World and more after exploring the “Great Cities of the World” at the International Vintage Poster Fair, coming to Chicago the weekend of March 28. Exhibitors from the U.S., Canada, China, Israel and Western Europe offer thousands of original vintage posters for sale dated from the 1890’s - 1980’s. Styles will include classic Art Nouveau Belle Époque images, and increasingly popular Art Deco and Modernism posters. Posters offered will include food and liquor advertisements, WWI and WWII posters, film, travel and transportation, and sporting events.

WHEN: Preview Friday, March 28, 2008 5pm – 9pm
Saturday, March 29, 2008 10am – 7pm
Sunday, March 30, 2008 11am – 6pm

COST: $15 for a weekend ticket

PREVIEW PARTY:
The March 28 opening night party is open to the public and benefits the
Evening Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago. The event includes wine, hors d’oeuvres, a raffle and lecture. Cost: $35 for Evening Associate Members and $45 for the public, prior to March 28. $40 for Evening Associate Members and $50 for the public at the door.

PARKING: Public parking available at Monroe Parking Garage and at Millennium Park.
