The Imagined Village is a stunning project interweaving traditional folk with sounds and voices of today. Fiddles and squeezebox breathe easily alongside electronica and ambient effects. Grammy Award-winning musician and producer Simon Emmerson, no stranger to eclectic fusions, is joined by members of Transglobal Underground, Afro Celt Sound System, live electronic band The Bays, folk's finest Martin Carthy, Eliza Carthy and Jackie Oates and many others.
