The effect of the Holocaust on the art of second- and third-generation survivors is not yet understood. In this panel discussion, three Bay Area artists (Naomie Kremer, Gale Antokal, and Lisa Kokin, all CCA MFA graduates) whose recent projects reflect the theme of the Holocaust will discuss the new visual parameters of the Holocaust effect with Alla Efimova, chief curator of the Judah L. Magnes Museum, and Dora Apel, art historian and author of "Memory Effects: Holocaust and the Art of Secondary Witnessing." This event is cosponsored by the Judah L. Magnes Museum and CCA's Graduate Program in Visual and Critical Studies.
