'Gong Show Live' will be the first authorized stage production of the pioneering '70s TV talent show and the prototype for an extended-run stage production in New York and Las Vegas. The original 'Gong Show' set the template for today's reality TV talent competitions, and was the first to feature amateur "talent" acts who risked humiliation for a shot at fame. 'Gong Show Live' will also feature original acts performing for an audience and three judges. If acts are deemed unbearable, they'll be "gonged," and/or ridiculed by both the judges and audience members. 'Gong Show Live's' MC, comedian Ray Ellin, and its three judges - Chuck Nice, Leslie Gold "The Radiochick" and Dan Naturman - are known from their work in standup comedy, TV and radio. Talent performing at 'Gong Show Live' was selected from video submissions solicited specifically for this first-ever, authorized stage production. Last-minute acts selected from the show's audience will also perform.
