The Golden Anniversary Edition of Beatitude Magazine December 8, 2009

Founded in 1959 by Bob Kaufman, Alan Ginsberg, John Kelley, and William Margolis, 'Beatitude Magazine' helped launch the careers of many aspiring poets. Latif Harris and Neeli Cherkovski have edited a collection that runs nearly 500 pages long and includes poems from seminal writers of the Beat Generation and from their literary offspring. It is a loving tribute to over 50 years of North Beach poetry.
