The Global Art of Patchwork: Africa, America, Asia October 7, 2011

This exhibition features textile-related patchwork from around the globe, including works from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Japan, Korea, India, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, Tibet and the United States. Integrated among the varied examples of functional patchwork textiles (including quilts, dress, flags, wrapping cloths, etc.) will be the work of contemporary artists who engage patchwork techniques.
