Join us and take part in what will be a lively and engaging debate. Chaired by TV presenter Matthew Wright, the confirmed speakers are Feona Attwood, Professor of Sex, Communications and Culture Kathryn Hoyle, Founder and MD of Sh! Women’s Erotic Emporium. More speakers to be announced shortly.

Do we live in a sexualised society?
Does it matter?
What does sexualisation mean anyway?
Are our children more at risk than they were 50 years ago?
Has moral panic distorted our perceptions? Is the media to blame?
Has sexualisation liberated people or oppressed them?

Sexualisation has really been in the news a lot recently: The Bailey Review reported on the commercialisation and sexualisation of children; the “slutwalk” took to the streets of Central London. Our expert panel will consider if and how sexualisation has impacted on UK culture and what the impact of technology has been.

Tickets are £10 (plus booking fee) this includes refreshments and an opportunity to chat to our panelists afterwards.
