The Florence R Foerderer Live Animal Center October 12, 2008

Located in the rear of the museum's ground floor, the center is home to over 100 live birds, mammals, reptiles & other creatures. Visitors can check out behind-the-scenes action as the resident critters are fed and tended to by caretakers. All the animals involved are either injured or bred in captivity and would not survive in the wild.
