Roman Polanski wrote, directed, and costarred with wife Sharon Tate in perhaps the first vampire comedy. The Fearless Vampire Killers is most memorable for the character of Shagal (the Jewish Vampire) and is a tongue- (and fang-) in-cheek look at many issues of the day. (1967, 108 min. No MPAA rating.)
