Once again, The Epochs. This time with Big Pump, a new creation from the mind of downtown jazz genius Jason Lindner, the leader of the Smalls Big Band that used to play every Monday at the legendary underground jazz spot. Lindner will meld his compositions into a format featuring trumpet and three percussionists, each of which will play one part of a simple trap kit--one on hi-hat, one on snare, and one on bass drum. This should be pretty incredible.
