The forum series on collecting is organized by the Getty Research Institute's Project for the Study of Collecting and Provenance, in collaboration with the USC-Getty Program in the History of Collecting and Display. Anyone with an interest in the history of collecting is invited to participate in this continuing series of forums that explore a range of issues in the field. This month's forum considers "the book as collection" and features Margaret Jacob, professor of history at UCLA, and Margaret Russett, assistant professor of Romantic literature at USC.
