Connie Merigo delves into the amazing life history and biology of the critically endangered leatherback sea turtle. The focus of her talk will be human-induced threats to these animals including entanglements.

BOSTON — The New England Aquarium will host a series of educational lectures and films delivered by well respected colleagues, scientists, professors and biologists from various aquatic fields. Topics of discussion will include coral reef extinction, ecosystems, marine mammal life and more. The New England Aquarium is a global leader in ocean exploration and marine conservation. The Aquarium Lecture Series is presented free to the public through the generosity of the Lowell Institute. Programs will begin at 7 p.m. in the Harborside Learning Lab, located at the New England Aquarium, Central Wharf, Boston, unless otherwise noted.
